When you could buy end rolls of newsprint, for rough drawing paper, I just used one of the really thick cardboard tube cores, propped the drawing board on that and secured it with two drawing board clips. It's the right angle for me and sits on my drawing table still okay after forty years. Back then, the end roll cost me 50p. A couple of bits of Blu-tak stops it moving. They've practically set like concrete over the years.

Oh, I really like how this product works, actually! The base pens and pencils have a lovely texture and really suit how you sketch! makes me wanna get one too, honestly. I've been looking for something to carry around that isn't my ipad since it doesnt always like the bright sunlight/I've been in the market for a lower tech option for sketching after I realized I have 34 sketchbooks I need to archive from over the years >_< The pixel-y output reminds me of small sketches you can find in video game or movie artbooks, it seems super friendly for iteration, but you're right that free transform would be pretty important to be able to use it regularly. The airbrush not working nicely and the pen sizes being set is also a bit of a bummer, but I bet that's a really quick and easy fix for a 1.2 release or somthing. Cool review as always, I love seeing what kind of tools you're using/testing out :]

You forgot to mention the true superpower of e-ink; you can draw outside in bright light. An iPad with maximum brightness will lose contrast. I’d market this a great digital plain-air sketchbook.
